Dear friends and family,
It’s been almost two weeks since we arrived in the Waterloo area, and we are feeling more settled and “at home” in our little Cedar Falls cabin at the River View Conference Center. After 27 years of wondering where we will stay each time we come home, it is so good to have a place of our own. If you want to stop up and see us- we are in cabin #252, however we will be in and out of the Waterloo area during our six months here. In fact, we calculated that we will be gone more days than we are home- so it will be nice to be able to come home to the same place each time.

The Christian's in Chiang Mai
Missionaries are not super spiritual beings as some people may think. You will discover that by reading here. We are pretty authentic people who love and miss our kids and even after living in Asia for 40 years have a hard time with good-byes. Raising our four daughters in Thailand was fun but leaving them in the USA, halfway around the globe is not so fun! Yet, as we walk with God we see His blessings on us a hundred fold. Journey with these two Iowa farm kids as we share our photos and experiences of life in Thailand, “The Land of Smiles.” We embrace the Bible as our guide and desire to share God’s message with all people.

E-Mail Update- Christians in the USA- 7/12/06
Dear Teammates,
Greetings from American soil once again!! We arrived in Los Angeles about two weeks ago, but have had difficulties getting our e-mail up and running again. We enjoyed our first few days with Bethany who has been in California for the past two years. After a few more stops in Indianapolis and Missouri, we arrived in Cedar Falls, Iowa 5 days ago.
Thank you for praying for all of departure details and safe travel. Jennifer is adjusting to a new culture here in the USA along with her parents. J
Back in Chiang Mai, the American summer project has ended their month of ministry on our campuses. They made some amazing new friendships and we have new Christians involved in Bible Studies as a result of their coming to Thailand. Please pray for our Thai staff who will continue to meet with these new Christians, that God will use them to build a solid foundation in their new faith in Jesus.
As soon as we get our phone numbers here in the states, we will send them out to you.
